Samantha Martinez was raised in Morristown, New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After college, Samantha came to San Francisco and taught in a Private, Non-Profit elementary/middle school as a Resource teacher in the Tenderloin. While teaching, she discovered Educational Therapy and pursued her Master’s and Certificate in Educational Therapy at Holy Names University in Oakland, California. Samantha has a passion for incorporating Mindfulness strategies in her work with clients. She feels that Educational Therapy requires a holistic approach in which the child has an opportunity to grow in all areas. Samantha has experience in working with elementary, middle and high school students in a Resource setting. She looks forward to providing individuals with unique educational goals and a path to success. Samantha specializes in executive functioning and reading remediation.
