Sarah Ann Hawkey is an Orton-Gillingham Coach who incorporates multi sensory materials in virtual sessions with students. She also facilitates virtual Orton-Gillingham "Plus" trainings for teachers, which enhances the highly systematic Orton-Gillingham approach with procedures based on recent research from the National Institutes of Health and the National Reading Panel. Her years working as a high school English Teacher combined with her love of theatre arts inform her perspective on linguistics. Sarah Ann has been a content developer for many educational technology companies and designed a variety of award-winning online courses and products.

 

Sarah Ann received her Master of Letters in Shakespeare in Performance from the Mary Baldwin University and her Bachelor of Arts in English from James Madison University.
