Signs of Needing Support

  • Difficulty rhyming words

  • Confusion around sounds and letters

  • Avoids reading or classwork

  • Loses stamina reading

  • Trouble understanding what they read, or very literal understanding of text

  • Guessing at words, difficulty with longer words

  • Struggle with spelling

How Is Intervention Provided:

  • Multisensory reading support using Orton Gillingham, Linda Mood Bell, Structured Literacy and other evidence based practices

  • 2-3 individual sessions a week (frequency determined by need)

  • Utilize data from past neuropsychological and school assessments. As well as our own baselines.
