Deepa Gosal

Deepa Gosal is an Educational Therapist who has worked with students of all age ranges for over fifteen years. She has served students throughout San Francisco, and the East Bay including those in Alamo, Lafayette, and Walnut Creek as well as virtually. 

Deepa has extensive experience across curriculums but has shifted her focus to help address needs in reading, writing, and executive function support for elementary to high school students. She works with students who have Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, visual and auditory processing, 2E, and  executive function needs. She received her Master's Degree in Literacy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she completed her thesis in improving writing skills amongst students with learning differences. She has an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis and a Teaching Credential in Mild to Moderate Disabilities from California State University, Sacramento. 

​In addition, Deepa has worked with numerous schools and organizations around the bay area providing professional development for teachers, as well as workshops for parents. She believes in advocating for her students and families and building awareness around neurodiversity.  Most recently, she received certification through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI).
