IMG_3127.jpg

Irene is an Educational Therapist who helps children and adolescents build confidence, independence, and effective learning skills. She works with students with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning differences, supporting them in understanding how they learn best and recognizing their strengths.

Irene’s approach blends developmental science, culturally responsive teaching, and structured, multisensory instruction. Sessions are individualized, engaging, and focused on building skills in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning, including organization, planning, and time management.

Irene holds a Master of Arts in Educational Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University, where she completed a thesis on executive function skills in middle school students and received the Outstanding Achievement in Academic Excellence & Persistence Award. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and is trained in Orton–Gillingham–based instruction, with completed California teacher requirements.

She partners closely with families to create consistent support systems across home and school. She believes learning happens best when students feel safe, supported, and encouraged, and she creates structured yet warm environments where students can take risks and experience success.
